Welcome to The Robe Trader.   Please read our Terms of Business which governs your use of our Website. By using this Site and placing an order, you are agreeing to them.

Payment

The Robe Trader accepts payment by Paypal.  This is perfectly secure and you do not need to hold or create a Paypal account in order to do this due to Paypal’s automatic conversion at checkout therefore enabling you to pay by either debit or credit card.  Goods will be dispatched once the payment has cleared.   If you have any questions or queries about an item please use the ‘contact us’ page or send an e-mail to hello@therobetrader.com. 

The Robe Trader is not a VAT registered company and therefore our products are not subject to VAT.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel your order, please notify us within 24 hours and the order will be cancelled.

Delivery

Orders up to £10.00 Royal Mail 1st Class Delivery £2.50 postage (UK mainland)

Orders from £10.01 – £30.00  Royal Mail 1st Class Delivery £3.95 postage (UK mainland)

Orders from £30.01 – £49.99 Royal Mail 1st Class Delivery £4.95 (UK mainland)

Orders £50 and over The Robe Trader offers free Royal Mail Standard Delivery (UK mainland)

All orders to EU countries £6.95 (signature required) – please enquire for large items

Your order will be posted to you within 3 days of receiving cleared payment.   For UK deliveries please allow up to 7 days for the item to reach you. Should an item be out of stock you will be notified as to expected delivery.

For overseas orders we are happy to post to EU countries for which there is a flat rate of £6.95 and requires a signature upon receipt of the parcel.  Delivery will take a minimum of 3 days.   For larger items over 60cm in length or more than 2kg in weight and for non-EU countries, please enquire via e-mail and we will inform you of the delivery cost.   

Returns

The Robe Trader offers a no quibble returns service so if you are not 100% happy with your purchase, please notify us by email within 3 days of receipt of goods requesting a refund and return the item to us unused, with labels and tags attached and in its original packaging.  It is recommended that you obtain proof of postage or post using Recorded Delivery.   The returned item is your responsibility until it is received by us and we will not be liable for returns that do not reach us.  A full refund will be given, excluding the initial delivery charge.   If an item is faulty please notify us by e-mail within 3 days of receipt of goods explaining the problem and return it to us within 7 days.  A full refund will be given including the initial delivery charge or an exchange. This will not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Payment

We are pleased to be able to accept your payment via Paypal as we believe this to be the most trusted and secure way to process your transaction. You do not need to have a Paypal account, just an email address. Once you proceed through our checkout, you will be redirected to Paypal where you will be given the option of signing into an existing account, creating a new account or continue without creating an account. By using Paypal we have no need to retain any of your financial information on our website therefore providing a totally secure transaction process.

Your Privacy

Any personal information relating to our customers is only used for the purpose of purchasing items on The Robe Trader website. We will not sell, distribute or disclose information about you as an individual or your personal usage of the Site without your consent or unless required or permitted to do so by law.
